After much waiting, we finally get to see the new cover for Melanie Dickerson’s newest book in her Spies of London series.
I think that in comparison to the other two covers in this series, this one is my favorite. I adore her blue dress and she looks the most realistic. (In The Viscount’s Proposal the girl looked like a doll). The house in the background is also very pretty. Another thing I noticed is that in the background of the first book and this one, it is night or close to it. The middle one is during the day. I’m looking forward to reading this book.
You can pre-order it on Barns & Noble now; it will release September 12.
This story follows Felicity Mayson, the good friend of our previous heroine. Felicity has just been spurned by yet another suitor because of her meager dowry. So she is excited to be invited to Lady Blackstone’s country home. Being introduced to Oliver Ratley is a delight, even with his heedless yet inviting marriage proposal.
Government agent Phillip McDowell is infiltrating a group revolutionaries. And Phillip needs Felicity to maintain a cover as Oliver’s bride-to-be to help him stop them. Phillip is honor bound, Felicity is game.
I don’t know about you, but September can’t come soon enough.
